FAQ
- 1. What is XHTMLChallenge.com?
-
XHTML Challenge is offering a comparison between websites based on validation and code markup in order to choose and vote the best coded sites
- 2. Who creates the challenges?
-
YOU do! Anyone can create a challenge between two websites. All you need to do is register for an account and then create a challenge. After you create a challenge you can add tags to it.
- 3. Who can vote on the challenges?
-
Everyone can vote on any challenge once per challenge on a fixed interval of time
- 4. Who is the winner in a challenge?
-
The winner in a challenge is the website with the most votes.
- 5. Why doesn't any info appear for my new challenge?
-
After you create a new challenge, please allow it a few minutes for the information to appear. Our backend scripts run periodically every few minutes.
- 6. Why did my challenge I just submitted disappear?
-
One common issue that may mark a challenge inactive is that one of the URLs is unreacheable. If there's a temporary problem with one of the sites in the challenge, then the challenge should reactivate in a few days.
- 7. I've made changes to my site. How can I update the info in my challenge?
-
At the moment there's no manual control over the updating of the sites' info. The sites get reanalyzed every few weeks, so sit back and relax because the changes you've made to your site will appear soon.
